Thyme, for oily hair
Does your hair have a tendency towards becoming greasy and shiny? Well, thyme is your best ally. This aromatic plant, known for its antiseptic and purifying properties, makes it possible to control the production of sebum on the scalp.
Recipe: Boil one liter of water in a saucepan. When it starts boiling, remove it from the direct source of heat, add 6 tablespoons of dry thyme and let it steep for 15 minutes. After shampooing, use the liquid to rinse your hair.
Hair revitalization with stinging nettles
Rich in vitamins A, B and C, their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties keep the scalp in good health. Rich in minerals such as potassium or calcium, stinging nettles nourish the hair follicles to promote new hair growth.
Recipe: Add four tablespoons of nettle to a liter of boiling water and let it boil until the liquid drops to half. Let it steep for 20 minutes, then filter. After shampooing, use the liquid to rinse your hair.
Volume and shine with oat
Damaged hair can be annoying but oat is ideal for fixing it. Rich in vitamins B and E in iron, zinc, magnesium, as well as in carbohydrates and proteins, oat is perfect for nourishing dry hair.
Recipe: Pour 50 g of oatmeal into a bowl, add 200 ml of water and let it hydrate for about fifteen minutes. Mix everything to get a homogeneous texture, add a teaspoon of honey and an egg yolk. Mix well and let it sit. After washing your hair with your regular shampoo, you can apply this mixture for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Boil two teaspoons of sage, lavender, rosemary, in a liter and a half of water. Let it boil until the liquid drops to half. Then let it infuse for 15 minutes and filter. After shampooing, use the liquid to rinse your hair.
